Lindenwood University agreed to a nearly $1.7 million settlement over a lawsuit criticizing its online classes.
A class-action group of students alleged they overpaid when classes went online amid the pandemic. The suit alleged online learning options were "subpar in practically every aspect" to in-person classes.
"We think this is a fair and reasonable settlement," Lindenwood's attorney Kyle Seelbach said in a hearing.
