Library names four director finalists

The finalists are:

• Regina Greer Cooper, of the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library in Alabama;

• Virginia Ann Hammond, of the Alameda County Library in California;

• Karen L. Hicklin, of the Trails Regional Library for Johnson and Lafayette counties in Missouri; and

• Robert W. Pasicznyuk, of Douglas County Libraries in Colorado.

Receptions for the public to meet the candidates will be 8–9 a.m. Sept. 19 at The Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave., and 8–9 a.m. Sept. 20 at Brentwood Branch Library, 2214 Brentwood Blvd.

The library’s board of trustees will name the next executive director this fall. Busch is slated to retire in January 2009.
