The London Interbank Offered Rate is winding down.
Libor, which has underpinned pricing derivatives and loans for four decades, will no longer hole that role. The rate reportedly is tied to $265 trillion worth of contracts globally.
Banks have spent around $10 billion preparing for the end of Libor, according to an estimate by management consultancy Oliver Wyman.
