Ron McDowell, senior vice-president of Liberty Bank, said the second location will be next to Stone Hill Winery on State Highway 165. “It’s really in a good location in a busy part of Branson,” he said.
Demolition of the Clipper Inn at the construction site already has begun, and construction on the new facility will start in spring. Wirt Construction of Springfield is the general contractor and Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc. of Springfield is the architect. The new branch, expected to open in fall or winter next year, will be 2,400 square feet with three drive-through lanes.
Liberty Bank opened its first Branson branch May 31 at 1540 State Highway 248. It opened a temporary facility in Branson in August 2005.
Liberty Bank has 13 locations and more than 230 associates in the Ozarks, according to its Web site, www.therisingstar.com. The 11-year-old bank has $640 million in assets.[[In-content Ad]]
