With Geoffrey Butler as principle in charge and Rufus Louderback as project manager, Butler Rosenbury & Partners Inc. is the architect for Liberty Bank’s recently completed headquarters at 4625 S. National. Butler Rosenbury also provided structural engineering for the 48,000-square-foot facility. Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer, and Global Link Surveying is the civil engineer and conducted surveying. Wirt Construction Co. was the general contractor for the approximately $6 million facility. Situated on a five-acre site, the three-story building houses a branch bank on the main level, loan services and administration on the second and room for future expansion on the third. The bank includes safety deposit boxes in a large vault, five teller lines, new account services, investment banking and retail loan services. A well with an open stair between the first and second floors provides access to the upper level. A spacious boardroom with tiered seating and a large training room also are included. There is a remote drive-through facility that is dual-faced and has six lanes.
