The first to be finished will be the bank’s second Joplin location, under construction at 2301 W. Seventh St. The branch should be completed late this fall, according to a Liberty news release.
Shortly after, Liberty will enter the Nixa market for the first time with a branch at 701 W. Mount Vernon, slated to open this winter.
The bank’s sixth Springfield location will follow, with an estimated completion date of early spring 2008. That branch will be at 2423 W. Republic Road.
Liberty officials declined to comment further on the new branches.
The Springfield-based bank has 14 locations in southwest Missouri and ranks No. 1 on Springfield Business Journal’s 2007 list of largest U.S. Small Business Administration lenders.
