Wirt Construction is the general contractor for Liberty Bank’s new headquarters. Butler, Rosenbury & Partners is the architect and the structural engineer. Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer for the 48,000-square-foot facility, which will have a separate 650-square-foot building for six drive-through lanes. Tim Flavin, president of Wirt Construction and project manager for the new Liberty Bank, said the estimated construction cost is $5.5 million. Completion is scheduled for late October to coincide with Liberty Bank’s 10-year anniversary. The three-story banking facility will house a typical bank lobby – with a water feature – on the first floor, Flavin said. The second floor will have offices and a boardroom. For now, he added, the third floor is vacant. The exterior of the structural-steel-framed building will be brick with cast stone. Wirt also is building a Joplin location for Liberty Bank, Flavin said.
