Springfield-based Lew's Fishing Tackle renewed its sponsorship with fishing tournament organization Fishing League Worldwide.
The agreement for 2016 marks the third-consecutive season Lew’s has sponsored the league. Terms of the deal were not disclosed in a news release.
"FLW anglers are our foundation and I am honored to support them," Lew's CEO Lynn Reeves said in the release. "We are excited about the continued partnership with FLW and look forward to a great year."
Benton, Ky.-based FLW hosts over 200 bass and walleye fishing tournaments each year, including the well-known Wal-Mart FLW Tour.
For sponsoring the FLW, Lew’s branding will be showcased at all tournaments and expos, as well as the company’s website, social media pages and its bass fishing magazine. Lew’s fishing rods, reels, apparel and accessories also will be available to FLW members as monthly giveaways.
Other sponsors include Ranger Boats, Folgers Coffee and Quaker State.
Do Outdoors Inc., the parent of Lew’s and Sportsmans Factory Outlet,
last year relocated to a a new $3.5 million headquarters at 3031 N. Martin Ave.
