Dear Mr. McAdoo,|ret||ret||tab|
You find it refreshing (_Good taste isn_t dead in comedy, music,_ Rusty Saber, Sept. 15) that youngsters are listening to Aerosmith, etc.? I got a kick out of that.|ret||ret||tab|
Aerosmith, a couple of guys who, between them, used more drugs and drank more alcohol in their first 20 years in business than the entire city of Springfield. But they feel much better now.|ret||ret||tab|
The Rolling Stones, role models?|ret||ret||tab|
Fleetwood Mac? Yes, sir. Mick Fleetwood has only gone through two or maybe three fortunes; another posterchild for responsible behavior.|ret||ret||tab|
Clapton? Drug use, promiscuity and the only one you mentioned actually doing anything that can be remotely described as innovative or refreshing.|ret||ret||tab|
I have all of the above groups you mention on vinyl and my turntable still works, but I think you have to be naive to assert that the music we listened to was clean and wholesome. They couldn_t say the f-word but it came through loud and clear.|ret||ret||tab|
