Lenexa firm places call for 500 KC jobs

Posted online
As part of a 33,000-square-foot expansion plan of Alliance Data Systems Corp.'s Lenexa office, the company will hire 200 people in the area by the end of the year and create about 500 jobs in the next three years, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.

"Overall, it stems from the tremendous growth we've had as an organization," said Brenden Steffens, Alliance Data's Lenexa site leader, "knowing that we're going to need to continue to hire in the Kansas City market, and in general as a company, that drove the decision to expand the facility here."

The jobs would largely be customer service staffers for the company, which partners with retail brands to increase customer loyalty through data-driven marketing.
