Merlin Entertainments, the operator of Legoland theme parks, agreed to be acquired in a $7.5 billion deal.
The proposed buyers are Lego’s founding family, private equity firm Blackstone and Canadian pension fund CPPIB.
Merlin is the world's second-largest theme park operator.
