Leggett & Platt plans Joplin expansion

Carthage-based Leggett & Platt Inc. (NYSE: LEG) signed a lease for a 42,000-square-foot plant in Joplin.

With its plans, the company expects to create at least 25 jobs and make a capital investment of $100,000, according to the Joplin Regional Business Journal.

The Joplin plant will be used to manufacture adjustable bed bases for residential use.
