Springfield-based Legacy Bank & Trust Co. is expanding in Texas after making an acquisition in the state early last year.
The company announced in a news release the addition of three branches and a corporate office in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
"We are pleased to have a presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and look forward to providing customers in the area with the personal service, attention and commitment Legacy is known for," said Jeremy Loftin, executive vice president and chief operations officer at Legacy Bank, in the release.
The new branches are in Dallas, Fort Worth and Plano, while the corporate office is in the Uptown neighborhood of Dallas.
Legacy Bank's website lists 10 branches in Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.
Legacy Bank and its holding company, Ozark Heritage Financial Group Inc., closed on the acquisition of Dallas-based Crain Mortgage Group LLC on Jan. 1, 2023, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting. The deal created a new division for the Springfield company called Legacy Capital, the rebranded name for Crain Mortgage Group.
