Designed by Pellham-Phillips-Hagerman Architects & Engineers for owner Mid-America Dairymen (now Dairy Farmers of America), this project was completed in fall 1994. A 5,000-square-foot pilot plant designed to equip Mid-Am with the tools it needed to compete in an increasingly competitive market, this plant contains, in miniature, the equipment to perform the processes of Mid-Am's 37 full-scale manufacturing plants. The facility gave the company the ability to expand current product lines and to create new products. The center includes visiting offices
