Highland Springs
Designed by Scott Consulting Engineers for owner John Q. Hammons Industries, this project was completed in 1988. The development of a residential community and private golf course, services provided by Scott Consulting included stormwater management, sanitary sewer design, landscape architecture, roadway design, construction administration, boundary and topographic surveys, construction staking, and subdivision platting. To be able to provide this broad of a range of services on one project of this significance truly made it a significant project and a microcosm of what Scott Consulting does.
Why is this project your legacy? Scott Consulting considers the development of Highland Springs to be its legacy project because of its impact on the Springfield community, the broad range of civil engineering and related services involved, and its duration.
