Lee's Summit, Blue Springs competing for 400-employee company

Fike Corp., one of the Kansas city area's largest manufacturers, is considering moving its world headquarters from Blue Springs to Lee’s Summit.

That leaves the two cities as potential bidders to host the $33 million project, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.

How city officials will seek to attract the project is not yet known.
