According to StoneBridge Property Owners’ Association General Manager Darrell Ransdell, the course privatization is at the request of new property owners and guest members.
“We want to control the number of rounds to maintain the quality of the course,” Ransdell said, adding that the course has about 22,000 rounds played on it a year, and the association wants to limit play to no more than 28,000 rounds.
He said the annual golf fee for an individual property owner will remain $1,800.
A recently renovated clubhouse, restaurants and pro shop will remain open to the public.
