Economist and former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers announced he would retire from his professorship at Harvard University.
The announcement comes amid scrutiny over Summers' ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
Summers, who previously led Harvard as president, is retiring at the end of the academic year.
