The Missouri Job Center, in partnership with the Christian County Library and Ozarks Technical Community College, is hosting a large-scale hiring event.
Jobseekers can attend the event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, July 30 at the college’s Richwood Valley Campus, 3369 W. Jackson St. in Ozark.
At least 27 employers, representing a range of businesses and industries, have agreed to participate.
The event is free and open to anyone looking for a job.
The employers include ABEC, Abilities First Inc., All Seasons Roofing and Restoration of Missouri LLC, AMADA Senior Care, Amprod LLC, At Home Health Care Services Inc., Bass Pro Shops, Big Cedar Lodge, Bill’s Electric Inc., Centerstone of Missouri, Cintas Corp., City of Branson, Clearview Window Cleaning, Community Blood Center of the Ozarks, Cornerstone Caregiving, Enersys, Erlen Group, Federal Express Corp., Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri Department of Corrections, Missouri Department of Transportation, Ozark School District, Phoenix Home Care & Hospice, Quality Clean, Russell Cellular Inc., SMC Packaging Group and Stone County Developmental Disability Board.
Applicants are encouraged to bring copies of their resume.
The Missouri Job Center is offering help to update resumes at two locations, 1661 N. Boonville Ave. in Springfield or 2720 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway in Branson.
The Springfield Job Center has a Career Closet to help individuals with interview appropriate clothing to assist job seekers in preparing for this event.
