Land clearing starts for $188M Joplin project

Land clearing work has started at the site of a planned $188 million mixed-use development in Joplin.

Developer Woodsonia is planning a project called 32nd Street Place that would be anchored by a Menards store.

On 70 acres, the project calls on additional spaces for commercial businesses.
