Dirt is moving on West Plainview for the design of La Chateau subdivision. Its 96 lots should be complete by Sept. 1.
The owner/developer is Triple S Properties Inc. and the general contractor is Nixa's Accurate Contracting.
According to La Chateau's Realtor Doug Garges with Carol Jones, lot minimums are 10,000 square feet and range in price from $29,900 to $38,900. He said home prices will vary between $140,000 and $200,000.
La Chateau will appropriately have a French country theme. Its amenities include two water features at the entrance, a community swimming pool and a privacy fence surrounding the subdivision. Also, it will be serviced by City Utilities.
Garges said 27 lots are already under contract.
