The University of Kansas is seeking more than $1 million in restitution payments from former Adidas executive Jim Gatto.
Gatto was found guilty in October 2018 of wire fraud in a conspiracy involving payments to basketball recruits.
KU claims the school suffered financial harm as a “victim of Mr. Gatto’s and his co-conspirators crimes." He allegedly had ties to paying KU players illegally.
