Kroger to sell its c-stores for $2.15B

Kroger Co. penned an agreement to sell its convenience stores for $2.15 billion.

Blackburn, England-based EG Group, which operates c-stores in Europe, agreed to purchase the stores.

Kroger's 762 c-stores in 18 states operate under the names Turkey Hill, Loaf ‘N Jug, Kwik Shop, Tom Thumb and Quik Stop.
