Kroger Co. intends to raise $1.2 billion in debt later this month, according to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
The grocery store operator plans to use the new debt round to refinance existing long-term debt.
At the end of the third quarter, Kroger had $11.6 billion in long-term debt.
