Kroger is offering a prize of up to $1 million for ideas on eliminating waste.
The specifics aren't yet available, a spokesperson said. The program will be announced early next month.
It's part of Kroger’s Zero Hunger | Zero Waste initiative launched in 2017 to eliminate hunger and waste in communities it serves.
