Kroger analyzed sales data at its 2,800 grocery stores to determine the top trending foods and drinks of 2020.
No. 1 on the list is zero-calorie soft drinks. That's followed by four-cheese Mexican blend shredded cheese; spicy, regional and meal-inspired potato chips; sauvignon blanc wine; and heavy whipping cream.
For 2021, Kroger is predicting future-proof foods will be the top trend.
