Kroenke's LA stadium could be home to two teams

Posted online
St. Louis Rams owner and billionaire real estate mogul Stan Kroenke has plans in place for a $1.86 billion stadium in Inglewood, Calif., designed to accommodate two home teams, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Already being billed as the world’s most interactive and integrated football stadium, the Hollywood Park plan is two-team compliant, which means it has two home locker rooms, two sets of office spaces and two owners’ suites.

The stadium will have a roof – which helps make it a venue for large events such as concerts – that, thanks to a covering, allows it to double as a giant billboard with images that can be projected on it for the 35 million travelers that fly in and out of Los Angeles International Airport each year.

Analysts have speculated that the Rams, the San Diego Chargers and the Oakland Raiders are all teams that could move to Los Angeles and play from the stadium once complete.
