Kraft Heinz Co. reached a deal to sell part of its cheese business for $3.2 billion.
France’s Groupe Lactalis SA agreed to purchase the company's U.S. natural cheese business, as well other cheese brands in North America and in international countries.
The sale includes Kraft shredded and blocks of cheese. Kraft Heinz will continue to control Philadelphia cream cheese, Velveeta, Cheez Whiz and Kraft Singles, among other assets.
