Democrat Chris Koster reported more than twice the amount of money on hand in the third quarter than Republican rival Eric Greitens, according to Missouri Ethics Commission reports filed yesterday.
Koster posted $6.6 million in cash on hand as of Sept. 30, compared with Greitens’ $2.7 million. Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign is donating $500,000 to help the campaigns of Koster and Democrat Jason Kander, who’s running against Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo.. The money is for radio ads, fliers and digital ads, according to St. Louis Public Radio.
In the lieutenant governor’s race, Sen. Mike Parson, R-Bolivar, reported $501,067 in cash on hand in the third quarter. Comparatively, Democrat Russ Carnahan had $209,794, according to MEC filings.
For state attorney general, Republican Josh Hawley nearly quadrupled the cash on hand of Democratic competitor Teresa Hensley. Hawley had $4.3 million, while Hensley reported $1.1 million.
Republican Jay Ashcroft led in the secretary of state race with $397,129 in cash on hand as of Sept. 30. Democrat Robin Smith had $349,642.
For state treasurer, Republican Eric Schmitt reported $2.5 million, compared with Democrat Judy Baker’s $350,315.
Eight state representative seats are scheduled to appear on the Nov. 8 Greene County ballot.

• 133: Democrat Jim Clemmons, $1,796; Republican Curtis Trent, $44,604;
• 132: Democrat Crystal Quade, $28,079; Republican Thomas Quinn, $11,804;
• 137: Republican Lyndall Fraker, $21,576.
• 131: Democrat Nate Branscom, $1,811; Republican Sonya Anderson, $20,388; and
• 130: Democrat Ella Goeppinger, $1,373; Republican Jeff Messenger, $7,258.
Third-quarter federal election figures were not available this morning on the Federal Election Commission website. The third-quarter due date was Oct. 15, according to FEC.gov.
