Korean battery manufacturer SK innovation is planning a $1.67 billion investment in northeast Georgia.
The company, a subsidiary of of the SK Group conglomerate, is proposing a plant with 1 million square feet of manufacturing space in Jackson County.
The plans include the hiring of more than 1,000 advanced manufacturing employees.
