Kohl's partnered with Aldi to bring the discount grocer into some of its stores.
Aldi will open inside as many as 10 Kohl's stores later this year as a pilot test.
On a call with analysts and investors, CEO Kevin Mansell said the moves would allow the company "to achieve further inventory reductions and margin acceleration as a result."
