U.S. department store chain Kohl's Corp. reported better earnings and sales in the first quarter.
The company's net income increased 13.6 percent to $75 million. Revenue rose 3.5 percent to $4.2 billion.
Same-store sales grew by 3.6 percent in the first quarter, up from a 2.7 percent increase a year earlier.
