Kohl's has entered exclusive negotiations with retail holding company Franchise Group amid interest from multiple companies in buying the department store chain.
Franchise Group is proposing to buy Kohl's for $60 per share, which values the company at roughly $8 billion.
Franchise Group reportedly is working with Oak Street Real Estate Capital on financing.
