‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ records $56.5M domestic debut

"Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" was No. 1 at the domestic box office over the weekend.

Its domestic total came to $56.5 million, with a global tally of $129 million.

The movie cost a net $160 million to make before marketing.
