Example Sets Tone and Way
Keys to my leadership style are being authentic and genuine, having empathy, and by leading not so much by words, but by example. There are four ways you can lead by example.
Leaders should be inspirational. When tough situations arise, people need to have a feeling that everything will be alright. By projecting positivity and discouraging negativity, people will often follow this mindset to find solutions for any conflict.
Leaders should also be unafraid to seek advice. Being smart and having a solid foundation in your field of work is important, but so is seeking advice and asking questions to determine the best possible solution for any scenario.
Leaders should add a drop of fun in a workplace enhancing motivation, increasing productivity, reducing stress, and creating higher job satisfaction not only for me, as the leader, but for the whole staff.
Leaders should listen to employees. Let them know that you value their input and work together to create solutions in the workplace. Make a difference in the lives of your employees and help them succeed and advance in their careers. Your employees are a direct reflection of you and you want to empower them to reach their full potential as an integral part of the company.

Should we be talking about politics in the workplace? Whatever one’s opinion on the practice, a February study by Gallup Inc. says 54% of on-site U.S. employees are doing it anyway.
