Kia is recalling more than 500,000 vehicles over an airbag and seatbelt flaw.
The recall affects some 2010-2013 Forte compact cars; 2011-2013 Optima sedans; and 2011-2012 Optima Hybrid sedans and Sedona minivans.
The issue is that the airbag control unit may short circuit and prevent the front airbags and seatbelt pretensioners from deploying in a crash.
