The franchising company will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Jan. 12 at the restaurant, 240 N. West Bypass. On Jan. 13, the public is invited to a grand opening celebration 11 a.m.–2 p.m., highlighted by a visit from the Springfield Fire Department.
During the celebration, the restaurant wil donate $500 to the Fire Department.
The 3,435-square-foot restaurant seats 88 and cost about $250,000 to build, according to a building permit filed with the city of Springfield. Drive-through and take-out services will be offered.
The restaurant employs 28. It is managed by Lisa Gott.
Royal Construction and Management LLC was the general contractor for the project, Webb and Associates LLC was the architect, and Smith-Goth Engineers Inc. was the engineer.
