Keurig Green Mountain gets roasted: Stock drops 10%

Looks like the nationwide fascination with brewing coffee a cup at a time is in the dregs.
 
CNNMoney reports that sales of Keurig machines and gear fell 23 percent in the first quarter versus the same time last year.

The drop in sales has sent Keurig stock down 10 percent since last week and 25 percent for the year.
 
The report blames a lack of shopper interest that has left a glut of Keurig machines sitting on store shelves and consumer complaints concerning the inability to use the new Keurig machines to brew anything other than Keurig brand coffee cups. The company plans to remedy that complaint and introduce additional accessories and brewers to boost sales, the report states.
