Keurig discontinues soda machine, lays off workers

Keurig Green Mountain Inc. is dumping its Keurig Kold home soda machine after less than a year on the market.

It's also offering full refunds for the $370 product. Keurig didn't say specifically why they're pulling the machine, but disappointing sales are likely the cause.

The stop of production means Keurig will lay off 130 people, most of them in Vermont, where the company operates its headquarters.
