Gov. Mike Kehoe announced he would sign the redistricting legislation approved in the special session on Sunday.
The redrawn map, referred to by Kehoe as the "Missouri First Map," has backing from President Donald Trump.
The legislation would split the Kansas City district into multiple to favor Republicans.
