KC's largest private company may be moving to KCK

In the eternal battle between KC and KCK to attract business growth, KCK might be winning.

Kansas City’s largest private company, Dairy Farmers of America Inc., might be hopping the state line to Kansas City, Kan., affectionally know as KCK.

The Kansas City Business Journal reports the milk cooperative is considering two build-to-suit sites, one on each side of the state line, and is expected to announce the winner next week.

The company has 336 local employees and made $12.8 in annual revenue during its last fiscal year.
