The venue formerly known as Kemper Arena reopened in Kansas City on Friday as the Hy-Vee Arena.
The facility underwent a $39 million renovation by Foutch Brothers LLC that turned the arena into a two-level youth and amateur sports hub.
Added features include an indoor running track, hardwood courts, and spaces for retail and offices.
