KC's Kauffman Center ranks among world's 15 most spectacular

The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City is one of the 15 most spectacular concert halls in the world, according to Hamburg-based building data company Emporis.

Only one other U.S. facility made the list: The Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Only one other country – Spain – had two concert halls honored on the list, according to the Kansas City Star.

Other arts’ centers recognized include the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, Azerbaijan, Berlin’s Philharmonie building and Singapore’s Esplanade Concert Hall.
