KCI food operator to lay off 170

Kansas City International Airport food and beverage operator HMSHost is laying off 170 employees.

The company's contract with the KCI airport ends in February.

The airport's new food and beverage operator, Vantage Airport Group, said it would seek to employ some of the fired employees from HMSHost.
