RideKC Development Corp. is asking residents to weigh in on potential reuses for a former Kmart site in the northern part of the city.
The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority bought the property in May for nearly $5 million. KCATA created RideKC Development in 2018 to pursue policy goals through its projects.
A multifamily development is among the proposed uses of the shuttered Kmart.
