The Kansas City Star's downtown office and printing plant has been listed on the market ahead of the newspaper's plan to exit the building by the end of the year.
Building owner Ambassador Hospitality LLC hired Kessinger/Hunter & Co. LC to list the roughly 344,000-square-foot property for sale or lease. Ambassador Hospitality also is exploring reuse options for the building, as well as a possible demolition to make way for a fully repurposed site.
The Kansas City Star announced late last year it would exit its home since 2006 and lay off more than 120 people in the process.
