KC Power & Light District venue to get $10M upgrade

Kansas City's Power & Light District is planning a $10 million upgrade.

The district's Kansas City Live! open-air venue will get more outdoor seating, enhanced lighting, ceiling heaters and more. A new Latin-themed restaurant also is planned.

Real estate organization Cordish Cos. owns the Power & Light District.
