The project to build a park over Interstate 670 in Kansas City has received a historic grant.
The Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission, which governs the state Department of Transportation, approved $31.4 million for the South Loop Park project.
It's the largest single investment through MoDOT's cost-share program.
