KC names new planning and development director

Kansas City's city manager, Troy Schulte, this week named a new director of planning and development.

Jeffrey Williams succeeds Bob Langenkamp, who vacated the post to become the new CEO of the Economic Development Corp. of Kansas City.

According to the Kansas City Business Journal, Langenkamp also was assistant city manager, but a decision has not yet been made as to whether to fill the role.
