The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is levying fines against a Kansas City manufacturer of lawn mower blades.
Oregon Tool Inc. was ordered to pay $337,253 in penalties due to violations of the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.
The EPA found hazardous and ignitable waste on the floors, walls, ceiling and equipment in Oregon Tool's Kansas City facility, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.
